'IRVIN HOUSE' office conversion for A.G.D. Duff & Partners
IRVIN HOUSE was purchased by Paul & Zander due to ever increasing demand for their product. With the vision to see great potential in this vacant facility which used to be the base for Richard Ivrin’s main office and fabrication centre. The facility will allow the company to consolidate their multiple outlets in Aberdeen City into one centralised Flagship Facility. It is also large enough to allow for future expansion and increased diversity of their manufacturing, processing and distribution throughout Europe.
PHASE 1 of the refurbishment will see the existing manufacturing, fabrication and storage area’s completely transformed and fitted out to a very high standard to allow for new markets to be breached and allow increased business opportunities around Europe to be secured. Work commenced on the strip out of the facility early 2021 and will see the completion of phase 1 early 2022. This is a very exciting time for the company as the new facility will provide the local community the prospect of employment in an expanding local company.
Macgillivray Architects acted on behalf of A G D Duff & Partners to secure a change of use through the planning process which will allow Paul and Zander to create a state of the art Fish Processing Facility. Developing the brief, ensuring interdepartmental connections maximise smooth efficient processing of product from delivery to dispatch. This process took time to develop along with co-ordination of the specialist equipment and consultants to ensure that the new Head Quarter Facility will exceed initial expectations.
